Common Questions

What do I need to bring to my class?

We provide all equipment and wetsuits are included free of charge in the price for the class. You will need to bring swimwear, a towel and an old pair of runners you don’t mind getting wet (mandatory for children, adults can do the activity in their bare feet).

Under 18s will also be provided with a helmet.

Are your classes suitable for children and adults?

Our team of instructors have extensive experience working with both adults and children.  Our classes (unless otherwise stated) are open to both adults and children and we offer a reduced rate for under 16s for most classes. Beginners welcome (except for the Stand Up Paddleboarding Open Water Class for which you need previous experience).

Do I have to sign a waiver?

Yes, all participants have to sign a waiver before they can go on a session with us. We offer a digital waiver that will be emailed to you once you have made a booking. Here is a link to the text of the waiver.

What are your facilities?

We have separate mens and women’s changing rooms, toilets and showers on site. We also have lockers for valuables, but as we don’t take any responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged items, we recommend not to bring anything of value on your trip with us.

For classes taking place in Dublin Bay, please bear in mind that we won’t have changing facilities and treat your lesson with us like a trip to the beach.
