Alan was Surfdock's founder, and the original Team member.
Sadly he is no longer with us, but will never be forgotten.

Oisín - IR777 |
When it comes to competition results, it would be
fair to say Oisin has been there, done that, got the
t-shirt and come home with the trophy.. more than 18 times !
Competitive? Yes.. but he just puts it down to being
totally addicted to the fun of windsurfing, and wanting
to learn every move going. 24 years on the water and
he still can't sleep when it's windy !
He loves passing his knowledge on, and gets a buzz
from coaching people on the beach (and suprising them
into learning to loop).. or sharing rigging or equipment
tips. If you see him sailing, just say hello and ask..
he knows his stuff.

Jeff - IR22 |
Originally taught to windsurf by Alan over 20 years
ago, Jeff was Vice National Racing Champion for 3
years running, and now is consistently ranked at the
top of the National Wavesailing Championships.
A highly accomplished surfer, SUPer & white water kayaker,
Jeff is also one of the most qualified and sought
after coaches in the country; including National Windsurfing
Coach, ISA Level 5 instructor, ISA Trainer & NCTC
Coach Tutor.
A true all round nice guy, Jeff is easily approachable
to get advice on anything, from basic uphauling to
equipment choice.

Noelle - IR2 |
Noelle has been windsurfing since 1986 (yes, like
Oisín she started when she was 1 year old!). Inspired
to enter competiton in 2004, her natural
ability and fearless style have seen her earn her
huge respect, and become IWA Wave and Freestyle Champion
that year, and every one since - until injury eventually forced her to stop competing in 2008.
Like Jeff, her coaching skills are in high demand,
and Noelle works full time as a freelance windsurf,
sailing & powerboating instructor. And is the
ONLY female ISA instructor-trainer in windsurfing
in Ireland!
An inspiration to many, she lives in Westport, where
she can be found wavesailing at Cross Strand and pushing
herself into all those moves she only ever dreamed
of! Her most used sail is a 2.9m !

Fintan - IR 72 |
Fintan has been sailing with Surfdock since before
his voice broke!
Extremely fit and tactically strong, Fintan uses his
great experience of racing since the age of 12 - to
consistently place him top 3 in the National Racing
Championships overall ranking. Like his Dad before
him, Fintan has been instrumental in getting Slalom
racing up and going again in Ireland, and is part of
the driving force behind the ISS (Irish Slalom Series).
Living in Blackrock, Fintan is found most at Seapoint,
blasting on freeride kit, but also loves wavesailing
in Poolbeg & Dollymount, or frequently traveling
to Downings in Donegal (which has the best of all
worlds when the sun is shining and the wind is blowing.)
