Where are we?
Surfdock is based in the Grand Canal Dockyard, Ringsend, minutes from the city centre, and just across the River Liffey from the Point Depot (but not on the Liffey). The shop is inside the 'Naomh
Eanna' (the old Aran Islands Ferry), which is moored in the Dockyard. Our School is located alongside the waters edge, and has portacabins for teaching and changing room facilities.

From the Southside
Driving into the city centre through Merrion on the Rock Road, follow the coast along Sandymount Strand as if going to the
East Link Bridge. When you get to Irishtown and Crawford Motors Opel Garage is on your left (you would normally turn right here to go to the East Link), keep going STRAIGHT through this junction, this will lead you into Ringsend Village. Follow
the road through Ringsend, heading for the City Centre. You will go over a small hump backed bridge, and immediately there is a cross-roads junction. Turn RIGHT here, and you will drive straight into the Grand Canal Dockyard!
From the Northside
Come into town on the North Strand Rd, leading
you by Connelly Train Station and the IFSC.
Cross the Liffey and immediately turn LEFT
onto the South Quays. Follow the quays until
you get to the Ferryman Pub/Hotel. Turn directly
RIGHT after this. At the next traffic lights
/ cross-roads, turn left onto Pearse St. Follow
the road to the next cross-roads again (look
out for our sign), and turn
LEFT
here. You will now drive straight into the
Grand Canal Dockyard.
From the City Centre
Get onto PEARSE St, heading out of town towards Ringsend. When you pass Ringsend Bus Garage on your left,
watch out for our sign at the next junction/cross-roads. Turn LEFT here, and you will drive straight in to
the Grand Canal Dockyard.
From the Country
It could not be simpler! No matter where you come from, when you get to Dublin you will hit the M50 motorway.
Follow the M50 until you get to the Red Cow Roundabout / Naas Road Junction (or you may already be coming in
on the Naas Rd.), and then take this turn off the M50 and follow the Naas Rd. in towards the city centre.
When the Naas Road hits the GRAND CANAL, turn right and follow the canal. From now on just keep driving STRAIGHT
through every junction, keeping the canal on your left. Eventually you will lose sight of the canal, but keep
going STRAIGHT through every junction. This will lead you onto South Lotts Road. At the end of this road there is
a crossroads. (Landmarks: Shelbourne Pk Dog Track on your right-hand side). Again go STRAIGHT, and this leads you straight
into the gates of the Grand Canal Dockyard!
