SUP Surf Experience (Advanced Session, Dollymount Beach – flat water class or other SUP experience required) – €50

This is a SUP class like no other – launching from the golden beaches of Dollymount Strand we paddle out on flat water to catch the mellow waves created by the bow wake of the passenger ferries entering Dublin Port. Don’t worry – we don’t go anywhere near the boats themselves but the gentle swell they create bends and hits the outer sandbars of the bay breaking slowly towards the shore. This is an amazing trip in itself with the bonus being that you could catch the longest wave of your life.

We will introduce you to the basics of paddling for and catching a wave on a stand up paddleboard.

Previous SUP experience is a requirement, you need feel confident paddling in choppy waters/swell/wind.

SUP Trips (flat water lesson or other SUP experience required) – €50

Explore Dublin by water. We arrange trips along Dublin’s historic canals and along the stunning coastline of Dublin Bay. Trips usually take 3 hours and run at weekends as well as on midweek evenings in the summer.

PLEASE NOTE Do not book a SUP trip, SUP Open Water session or the SUP surf lesson experience unless you have previous SUP experience. As we won’t be teaching the basics of paddling at the start of these sessions they are not suitable for complete beginners. Book the flat water lesson for your first time paddling and you will maximise your progression and fun within the sport of Stand Up Paddleboarding.
