Uniquely located in the cattle hold of the Naomh Eanna (the old Aran
Islands Ferry), Surfdock has been floating around since 1992 ! Our roots are firmly based in windsurfing, as we started out as a small windsurfing school in the Grand Canal Basin.
Over time we started to sell a few bits and pieces, and as demand grew from the public for more and better products, Surfdock organically evolved into what it is today - Ireland's Watersports Specialists !
Over the years, Surf, Stand Up Paddle Boards, Waterski/Wakeboards, Kitesurf & Kayaks were natural additions to our product range - and naturally we also stock all the wetsuits and accesories that are essential for all these sports. As we like to say: "If you want to get wet, we have you covered!"
Whether you are a complete beginner, or an aspiring hotshot, Surfdock aims to provide you with the best advice, coaching and equipment -
to help you get the most from your precious time on the water.
our team comprises of some the most experienced watersports enthusiasts in Ireland, including the country's top Windsurfing, Sailing, Kayaking & Powerboating coaches and trainers -
and the multi-times Irish Windsurfing Champions in every single discipline (Men's & Ladies).

Unlike many online 'shops', we pride ourselves in having a premises that is stocked to the gills with the gear we sell. If it's new or old, there's a fair chance we've either got it in stock, or can source it for you without fuss or delay. Our website is updated daily, and reflect most of the thousands of products we stock. We strive to stay ahead of things, but it's always worth dropping us a line to check if you can't find a product on the website... We would be more than happy to add it - just

Of course our Watersports centre is still the backbone of Surfdock. We can offer lessons for complete beginners, and stay with you right up to expert level. Have a look at our courses page for more details.
